Consultations are almost entirely customizable, but they generally follow this pattern:

1. Intentions and Goals: Getting clear about what you want.

2. Survey the Land: Starting the process of discovering the natural characteristics of your site.

3. Sketches and Design Concepts: Bringing all our ideas to the page to create valuable notes for your use.

4. Action Plan: Creating priority steps to take on a timeline that works for you.

Cost: $100/hr. (Note: Consultation cost is credited to any design job if contracted within 30 days of consultation.)

We apply a simple process for our projects:

1. Client Interviews and Project Vision Development - Getting clear on what you want and what results we will produce.

2. Digital Scale Mapping - Creating a digital template to articulate observations and design.

3. In-Depth Assessment – Processing layers of information: Sun, wind, water, soil, wildlife, people, hazards, privacy, legal, views, seasonal cycles, and much more

4. Design - Creative planning from pattern to detail

5. Action Plan - Prioritizing which actions to take first.

General costs for a digitally-based site analysis and design are between $400 and $1000. This depends on the scale and complexity of the project, and the level of detail of the design required. The bulk of the project lies in the site observation and communication between client and designer.

$75/hr or by contract.
